Questions & Answers

How does the process work from start to finish?
  1. We discuss your project — goals, style, references, must-haves.
  2. I send a quote based on scope.
  3. Once approved, I start on initial concepts/design.
  4. You review and share feedback.
  5. I revise based on your notes.
  6. Final files are delivered.

I specialize in two things: custom book cover design and website design. Book cover design for authors, publishers, and indie writers. My services include custom front covers, full wraparound print covers (front, spine, and back), e-book cover design, and clean, print-ready covers for both fiction and non-fiction. I design for all major genres, from thrillers and romance to children’s books and non-fiction.On the website side, I build clean, professional sites using Wix and Weebly — great options if you want a site that’s easy to update yourself once it’s live.

Every project starts with a short questionnaire (or conversation) about your book — genre, tone, target audience, comparable titles, and any must-haves or must-avoids. From there, I create initial concepts based on that direction, and we refine from there together. I deliver polished final files ready for KDP, IngramSpark, or your printer of choice.

What file formats will I receive? You’ll get print-ready files (PDF with correct bleed and spine width for paperback/hardback) as well as web-ready formats (JPG/PNG) for eBook platforms like Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, and others. If you need a specific size or platform format I haven’t mentioned, just let me know.

Do you design the spine and back cover too, or just the front? I can do either. Front-cover-only is common for eBook-first authors; full wraparound covers (front, spine, back with blurb space) are for anyone planning a print edition.

Most book cover designs are completed within 5-7 business days from kickoff, depending on complexity and revisions. Timelines vary depending on complexity and how quickly feedback comes back during revisions. A single book cover typically moves faster than a full website build. I’ll give you a specific estimate once I understand the scope of your project.

Projects include 1–2 rounds of revisions to refine the design based on your feedback. Additional rounds beyond that can usually be arranged if needed — just ask.

Pricing depends on the scope of the project — I offer set packages for common requests (like a standard eBook cover) and custom quotes for anything more involved (full print packages, larger websites, multi-part series). Reach out with your project details and I’ll get you an accurate quote.

I design websites and landing pages as well as build on Wix and Weebly like platforms. Both are great for small business, portfolio, and author websites — they’re visually flexible on the design side, and easy for you to log in and edit yourself afterward (update text, swap photos, add blog posts) without needing to know code.
